About Me
Hi, I’m Brittnee. The heart behind Promise and Purpose Doula — a mother, a professional, and someone deeply called to support families through some of life’s most meaningful moments.
As a mom of four, I’ve experienced birth from multiple perspectives — including two natural births and two with pain management. I’ve also had two spontaneous labors and two inductions, and have experienced preterm labor leading to NICU stays, as well as the joy of having a baby leave the hospital with me at discharge. These experiences have given me a deep understanding that no two journeys are the same, and every choice a mother makes deserves to be respected, supported, and honored.
In addition to my lived experience, I bring over 10 years of healthcare experience to my work. I hold an Associate Degree in Health Sciences and am a Certified Medical Assistant (CCMA), having worked closely with an OB/GYN provider. During that time, I saw firsthand how many individuals in our community were navigating pregnancy and postpartum with limited support, lack of access to resources, and low confidence in their own voices.
I remember thinking, “There has to be something I can do to help.”
That moment led me to discover the world of doulas — and I instantly knew this was my purpose.
Now, as a Certified Labor Doula and Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, my mission is to walk alongside families with compassion, education, and unwavering support. I am here for you through it all — pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, stillbirth, and the postpartum period — holding space without judgment and empowering you to feel confident in your journey.
One of the unique benefits of working with me is accessibility. I am contracted with multiple insurance providers, including Medi-Cal, Partnership, Kaiser of Northern California, and many more. Many families don’t realize that doula services can be covered from the very beginning of pregnancy through your baby’s first year postpartum — making support more attainable than ever.
At Promise and Purpose Doula, I believe every family deserves to feel seen, supported, and cared for — not just medically, but emotionally and holistically.

Services
Comprehensive Birth Support
I offer a range of doula services that include prenatal education, labor support with comfort techniques, and postpartum care. My goal is to create a nurturing environment for families as they navigate this new chapter.
Postpartum Doula Care
My postpartum support includes emotional support, assistance with newborn care, feeding guidance, and light household tasks, allowing new parents to focus on bonding with their baby while receiving the help they need.
Childbirth Education
I provide childbirth education classes that prepare families for labor and delivery, helping to demystify the birth process and equip parents with the knowledge to make informed decisions.
